The Wiki Loves Africa 2019 theme is PLAY!
The theme Play! encourages the submission of visual representations of joyful and serious games, sport, and recreation in the form of board or mental games, physical fun or contests, playful interactions, theatrical and musical performances, etc. It is intentionally broad and open to interpretation.
As with last year, there will be two separate prize categories for photos and media that encompass:
1. Women in sport
2. Culturally specific or traditional formal forms of play, recreation or events
Wiki Loves Africa 2019 opens on 1st February 2019. Please watch both this website and the Facebook and Twitter pages for details closer to the competition time.
